well done everybody, we had a great year!
Halloween, Christmas, Carnevale and final concerts!
How many things we have done, how many songs we have learnt, how many games we have played with instruments and movement!
and now… it is time to RELAX!

May 16th
We have been exploring our singing and speaking voices with Thousand Mouths. He is a man with lots of mouths, he makes lots of sounds and he has a very nice singing voice! Shall we learn his song and make sounds with our mouth too?
April 14th
We have been playing with music, movement and hoops. We had fun making up different way to use them. Swinging, going up and down, rolling, turning and sit in when the music stops.
March 7th
What are these cards on the floor? Let’s find out! Ah horse, a car, a flower, a stone… How can we move now? A car goes fast and we go fast, ha flower grows up from little tiny seed and we can stand up very slowly, a stone does not move at all and we stay still! The music as well moves, it goes quik, it goes up and it stays in silence!
January 25th
Carnival party will be soon! we are preapring nice and funny dances and songs to show to the other children in school. We met Pulcinella and had fun playing his game, we had fun singing songs to greet febbraio and carnival time!
december 17th
Xmas time is here!
We had a great time learnng songs for xmas.
We learned to play jinlge bells rattles according with the music
We learned to stand a sing with our best singing voice.
This was our way to prepare and celebrate Xmas with you

november 27th
we are learning new songs and moving according with the music. We have been talking of snowman and reindeer. Can you gallop as a reindeer? Can you go slowly like a fat snowman? Now we are in two groups. One moves on galloping music and one on slow music.
Stop when is time to stop and move only at your turn!

We worked and played with creative movement!
Listen to the music and stop when you hear the silence. How do you stop? Choose a position, observe children around you, can you copy some of them? How are the legs, how are the arms...and the face? whatch carefully and try to do exactly the same. Listening, observing and copyiing, we had a lot of fun!

It’s Halloween time!
Through movement and games we are learning nice and spooky halloween songs. We had fun making up different way to use our voices. Can we sing like a witch? Like a wolf or like a cat? Can we move like them? Fast like a bat or slowly and lightly like a ghost?

Music and movement help children to develop their coordination and listening skills.
In this video you will see some examples of games we do in music class.
We are learning to walk in line while singing a song. We are also learning other simple musical contrasts: high/low, fast/slow. We had fun inventing different ways to move scarves in time with the music.

We learned the good morning song and learned to sit in a circle before starting the lessons. Movement is always included in our activities and now we are learning to to follows the simple musical contrasts (high-low, stop-go) wich are the first steps for improving our listening skills!
